Latest news from the ranch
Friends and Cattlemen,
Welcome to our 11th ''Prime Cut on the Hoof Sale.'' What an interesting and challenging time in history. While it appears that our national economy is in some serious times, on the brighter side - in agriculture, cattle numbers and inventories are at the lowest numbers since the mid to late nineties. When this economy turns around, the cattle purchased today, their progeny will be finding their way to the sale barn and feedlots. We are excited about the offering we have selected for you and feel the genetics will work in many different types of programs.
Many of these bulls are out of the industry's proven leading sires. We strive to use bulls that are well balanced for maternal, growth and carcass performance. These bulls are stout, full of red meat and ready to work for you. None of our calves are creep fed, we may not have the big weaning weights but we feel it is a true measure of a cow's performance. These bulls' progeny prove that Angus cattle can still perform efficiently and effectively protecting your bottom line.
As you look through this catalog you will also find many bulls with excellent calving ease potential. The recommendations on these bulls are based on both our data and experience.
Both the commercial and registered heifers selling are out of the heart of our cow herd. Many are out of Pathfinder dams. They are feminine and should make a first rate cow herd.
In closing, we invite you to our place anytime you are in the area. We also invite your inspection of this exceptional set of cattle and to enjoy a complimentary lunch with us Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Imperial Auction Market starting at 11:00 a.m. MDT.
Sincerely,
Todd and Donalyn Hasenauer and Family
